Scarlett Johansson to get $15 million for Black Widow film

Scarlett Johansson, already the world's highest-paid actress, according to Forbes, is going to be paid a cool $15 million for starring in the first standalone Black Widowmovie, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter.

The Russo brothers were recently filming both reshoots and new scenes for The Avengers 4, with actors involved such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Jeremy Renner, Karen Gillan and more.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. THR reports that Chadwick Boseman and Brie Larson reportedly nabbed much bigger, seven-figure paychecks for "Black Panther" and "Captain Marvel", respectively.

Scarlett Johansson appears to be making a healthy amount for her upcoming solo Black Widow film.

Dead Infants Found in Detroit's Shuttered Cantrell Funeral Home
The remains of 11 infants were found Friday at a former funeral home in Detroit , Michigan, police said. Police want to speak to the former funeral home's longtime owner, Raymond Cantrell , Bowser said .

A Marvel spokesperson, in response to the story, said in a statement: "Marvel Studios disputes the accuracy of these numbers, and as a matter of policy, we never publicly disclose salaries or deal terms".

The latest rumor surrounding the film also offers that a time jump is involved, with the flick kicking off five years in the future following Thanos having destroyed half the universe and Marvel superheroes. A brief glimpse of Captain America's white suit can also be seen to the lower right of the image.

Marvel Studios is notorious for keeping plot details tightly under wraps, as the Disney-owned studio did with the highly secretive Avengers: Infinity War, which integrated anti-spoiler messages into its promotional campaign.

Australian filmmaker Cate Shortland is set to direct the Black Widow movie from a script by Jac Schaeffer.
