Robert Mueller to Release Russia Findings Immediately After 2018 Midterms

The top lawmakers on two House committees will interview Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein next week about reports that he had discussed secretly recording President Donald Trump.

Rosenstein, who oversees Mueller's investigation, has incurred particularly acute ire of the GOP over the course of the probe, usually over the pace at which the Justice Department is producing documents the panels requested.

"And if I were Congress, I'd be having Mr. Mueller come in and testify".

Mueller is looking to release this new information sometime after the midterms.

France rides on Griezmann's epic brace as Germany's miseries deepen
Antoine Griezmann scored twice as France came back from a goal down to beat Germany 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday. The win moved World Cup winners France top of Group 1 in the top-tier League A, while Germany are last with only one point.

"So with that, I think that it's time that Rod Rosenstein steps down", he added. Michael Cohen, the ex-Trump attorney who was convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in a separate investigation by federal prosecutors, is reportedly also cooperating with Mueller, as is Trump organization CFO Allen Weisselburg. But to date, House GOP leaders have not gone as far as Meadows, Gaetz and other Trump allies, who have called for declassification of records related to the probe, and for Rosenstein's head - most recently with an unsuccessful attempt to push for his impeachment over the summer. Meadows wrote on Twitter that Rosenstein "has not cooperated with Congress, failed to be transparent about his actions, and shown a lack of candor in the way he's characterized a number of events".

Quoting a US official, Bloomberg said Rosenstein had been pressing Mueller to conclude the investigation as soon as possible.

Rosenstein, for his part, denied the Times report, saying: "I never pursued or authorized recording the President and any suggestion that I have ever advocated for the removal of the President is absolutely false".

Special counsel Robert Mueller is ready to deliver his key findings - but not until after the midterms - in the investigation into Trump campaign collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 election, according to two US officials.
