Overwatch new playable character Ashe introduced in animated short Reunion

Overwatch hero 29 Ashe

Blizzard unveiled the next Overwatch hero during Blizzcon today: Elizabeth Caledonia "Calamity" Ashe, better known as Ashe.

Ashe is the leader of the Deadlock Gang, which McCree was formerly a member of.

It had been rumoured that the new Overwatch character - hero 29 - was going to be the Junker Queen.

Blizzard announced Ashe will be the next Overwatch hero at BlizzCon on Friday, making her the first hero since the reveal of Wrecking Ball, who was released in July.

Those lucky few at BlizzCon are getting the chance to try out the newest Overwatch hero, Ashe, before everyone else, so of course, emongg had to try her as well.

Lion Air black box found by navy divers in Indonesia
Indonesia's biggest low-priced carrier announced this year it was buying 50 Boeing-737 MAX 10 jets for $6.24 billion. Results of the latest search will be announced shortly.

Interestingly, unlike many Funko Pops, the Ashe one substitutes the big and round black eyes for a deep dark red, which is likely because Ashe features red eyes in the game. More to come on her, as Blizzard sends the information over. And when aiming down the sight, Ashe can deal even more damage with a more precise shot. She also carries a coach gun that pushes enemies away from her and propels her backwards.

Dynamite: Ashe throws an explosive that detonates after a short delay or immediately when shot.

Finally, Ashe has the ability to call in her sidekick, B.O.B.

You can find images of the sniper, the triplets, Echo, and Bob (who appears in-game as part of Ashe's ultimate ability) below.
