Free to grab: Destiny 2

Well, if you're ever going to take the plunge, now is the time to do it. Naturally, Activision is only offering the base game, meaning that you'll have to buy the DLCs if you are interested in them.

"We know Destiny players that want to play on PC expect an incredible experience, whether it's on their own or with their friends - so, our paramount concern was to keep the discerning requirements of the PC community in mind, and welcoming the Battle.net and Bungie PC communities together", said Steve Cotton, game director for Destiny 2: Forsaken at Bungie.

From now through November 18th, BattleNet PC players can claim and keep a free copy of Destiny 2. Note that this is the base game, and doesn't include the "Forsaken" expansion which adds a new campaign to the title.

Indonesian crews recover black box from crashed jet
It has been expanding aggressively in Southeast Asia, a fast- growing region of more than 600 million people. Investigators are also looking for the plane's black box recorder, which will provide key flight data.

If you've been waiting to try Destiny 2, Bungie just announced that the game will be available for free (with some caveats). Initially, the Opening Ceremony crowd live at BlizzCon booed Steve Cotton, but the atmosphere of the room did a complete 180 following the announcement. With everything that has changed since Forsaken has released this is absolutely the time to give Destiny 2 a try.

Destiny 2 is redeemable from https://account.blizzard.com/gifts/.

There are no hidden catches or restrictions, other than the fact that you'll need a Battle.net account. Destiny 2 is also out on PS4 and Xbox One.
