Samsung Foldable Smartphone could launch as Samsung Infinity Flex

Royole FlexPai World’s first foldable smartphone launched check features

Samsung has always been rumoured to be working on a foldable phone. The phone will use a hinge mechanism that will allow smooth folding and unfolding of the device.

Samsung has high hopes on it next big phone innovation- a foldable Galaxy smartphone.

Amazon Plans to Spread Second Headquarters Across Two Cities
Because Amazon is reportedly in "advanced talks" does not mean the deal is certain. The rumored front-runner location in Northern Virginia is in Crystal City.

As we can see in the screenshot of the app below, it clearly says, "Explore the new Galaxy UX with Android 9.0 Pie (Beta Program), and see how a Foldable display creates a totally new experience". Although it has so far been mum on exactly when, analysts expect a launch date in the first half of 2019 - any later and Samsung would run the risk of new Apple phones stealing its thunder. All of the current information points to a clamshell-like design, where the phone will have a large display on the "inside", and a smaller, 3.5-inch-ish screen on its outer shell to show you notifications and whatnot. It said it will start filling orders from late December, although little is known about the firm's projected sales. The company is expected to showcase the Galaxy foldable handset codenamed- "Winner" at the upcoming Samsung Developer Conference on November 7-8 in San Francisco. Earlier this month, a company called "Royole" announced the FlexPai smartphone for $1,300, which it called "the world's first commercial foldable smartphone with a flexible display". "If they become established well enough to take a place in flagship product line-ups like the S-series and Note-series, then foldables might just help turn around the company's underperforming mobile business", said Greg Roh, an analyst at HMC Investment & Securities. Unlike Samsung and other global companies now on the foldable screen hype, Royole's "FlexPai" model claims to be both a smartphone and tablet in one.
