Mel B says Victoria Beckham WILL 'appear at Spice Girls' Wembley concert'

Geri Halliwell

Geri, Mel C, Mel B and Emma will be embarking on the group's first tour since 2007-2008's reunion tour next year.

Although Victoria Beckham won't be joining the band on tour, Mel hinted she could still make it down to a show - and the fashion designer has already offered her friends some kind words.

Speaking about the hard decision to go ahead with the reunion without Victoria, Mel said: 'It is tough because obviously she's a huge part of the band'. She's really supporting us.

Emma said: "There's no plans for Glastonbury but we should though". "She supports us and we support her, it's what we are all about".

"She's joining us at Wembley", chipped in Mel B, apparently in jest.

She enthused: 'We're recording an album, and we're going to the studio'.

However the band will be performing as a four-piece after Victoria Beckham opted not to join the reunion, but did wish her bandmates well.

Emma said they would be "celebrating for the women who were around when we came out.it's going to be very special".

Sources tell us the 4 out of 5 Spice Girls who are hitting the road next summer across the pond are set to be making almost $550k a head for each of their 6 shows in Britain - totaling about $3.2 million each. Geri quit in 1998 and they went on hiatus at the turn of the millennium.

Geri Horner suggested there might be more dates "if Mel B behaves herself".

Speculation is mounting that more dates will be added once tickets go on sale at 10:30 GMT on Saturday.

They got together again to perform at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
