Vince Gilligan penning Breaking Bad movie but will Walter White return?

Hit US television series Breaking Bad may have achieved that rare feat - a flawless ending - but it doesn't mean that creator Vince Gilligan isn't planning to write an extra chapter in the drugs drama.

Production for the film is expected to begin mid-November at New Mexico.

So, on a scale of one to 10, how psyched are you for a Breaking Bad movie?

"Gilligan is working on a two-hour film, though whether it's destined for multiplexes or television is unclear". THR reports that Gilligan is writing the script for the film, which will be set in the existing franchise and, according to the site, involved "the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom". "For years we've built up the film industry in New Mexico and strengthened our film incentives, now we're seeing success after success for the film industry in our state".

"Breaking Bad" is the story of Walter H. White, played by Bryan Cranston, a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the beginning of the series.

Ron DeSantis narrowly wins Florida's governor race
DeSantis was elected governor on Tuesday, defeating Tallahasee Mayor Andrew Gillum in a close race. But if the primary election's principles were any indication, money meant little, to begin with.

That's still speculation though, and stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have given nothing away yet.

'Yeah bitch!' It's time to get cooking again because "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan is now working on a two-hour movie extension of the AMC series. It would join prequel series Better Call Saul. It was followed by the prequel series Better Call Saul, focused on Bob Odenkirk's small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill, which just got renewed for a fifth season.

The sources say that Gilligan may direct the movie, and he'll be writing it as well as executive producing.

Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, who worked as producers on both Breaking Bad and the popular spinoff Better Call Saul, are also both attached to the project, which has been given secret project title of "Greenbrier".
