Ariana Grande's new song references exes Davidson, Miller

Ariana Grande has released new song

"He also referenced the songs Grande wrote about him - "Moonlight" and "True Love" speculated to be among them - with "(Those songs are fire tho. you're welcome)".

NEW YORK | Ariana Grande has released a song referencing her exes, including former fiance and "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson and the late Mac Miller.

Ariana Grande has struggled with an anxiety disorder for years now, but her mental illness got even worse following the tragic Manchester terrorist attack that happened in May 2017.

Ariana previously revealed that Ricky, along with all the other exes she mentions in the song, had been sent the tune to listen to prior to its release, telling a fan: "They heard it before it came out".

She sings: 'Thought I'd end up with Sean, but it wasn't a match.

After announcing "Thank U, Next", she tweeted that the track would not be a typical breakup song, writing: "No drags...no shade...jus love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty and growth". Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh. Davidson went on to describe Grande as a "wonderful, strong person" and wished her all the happiness in the world.

After pouring her heart out through song, Ariana feels "empowered", Frankie added.

Titled "Thank u, next", this song allows the superstar to empty his bag and, most importantly, move on to something else after her numerous relationships. The rest of the lyrics praise the singer for all that she's been through ― in love and life ― over the past few years. "The most important thing is to remember that... everybody has this", she said.
