Were these Trump's most heated exchanges with reporters yet?

White House,CNN reporter,CNN

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday clashed with CNN´s White House correspondent Jim Acosta, branding him a "rude, awful person" in a testy exchange. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders accused Acosta of "placing his hands" on the intern.

"President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration", said Sanders in a statement this evening.

It followed an unusually contentious press conference held by President Trump in the East Room of the White House in which the president called Acosta "a rude, bad person". During the intern's final attempt, as she tried to pull the microphone away, Acosta's hand appeared to briefly brush her arm.

Trump was dodging Acosta's questions regarding a wide range of subjects, including the Russian Federation investigation and the group of migrants traveling from Central America toward the USA, when a White House intern walked up to take his microphone away.

'CNN should be ashamed of itself having you work for them. That's enough. That's enough. Because of Acosta's combative exchange with President Donald Trump at his post-midterms press conference.

CNN, The New York Times, and multiple other agencies falsely claimed that Acosta had not touched the White House aide, even in the face of video evidence.

Many in the media industry were furious with Ms Sanders for sharing the video, including one of Mr Acosta's colleagues. "This unprecedented decision is a threat to our democracy and the country deserves better", CNN said.

And CNN has slammed the White House for its actions. "The country now stands not far from where it was when Mr Trump won his shocking victory in 2016: deeply divided in its politics as well as its views of the 45th president", said the article.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions submits resignation letter
As The Washington Post noted , Whitaker has made public statements expressing skepticism towards the Mueller investigation. The full implications Sessions' exit may have on Mueller's investigation were not immediately clear.

'The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is frightful, ' he said.

In response, Acosta said, "This is a lie".

That didn't stop Acosta from talking but Trump moved on, calling on NBC's Peter Alexander.

The president then told Mr Acosta to sit down and to put down his microphone.

But not satisfied with his response, Acosta attempted to ask another question about the investigation into Trump's alleged links with Russian Federation.

In another article-which was published as a conversation between columnists Frank Bruni and Ross Douthat-in The New York Times, Douthat pointed out that throughout the 2016 campaign, Republicans were hopeful that "Trump would start behaving a little more like a normal politician, or just a normal human being".

The White House Correspondents' Association called the yanking of Acosta's pass "out of line" and "unacceptable".

In a statement Wednesday night, CNN said that Sanders "provided fraudulent accusations and cited an incident that never happened". Waving his finger, Trump berated him.
