Xiaomi AirDots (Youth Edition) officially launched

The Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its AirDots earbuds in China today which go against the Apple Airpods and offer similar functionality. You get 4 hours of audio time per charge, and the case can recharge the AirDots three times for a total of 12 hours of battery life.

Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition look different from the AipPods; they support Bluetooth 5.0 and weigh 4.2 g each.

The listing for the new pair of Apple AirPods was discovered in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group's regulatory database early this month.

Mourinho hails 'fantastic' Manchester United win over Juventus
This time he had another win to celebrate, after watching his team fight back from Cristiano Ronaldo's spectacular opening goal. The Portuguese superstar immediately ran to the corner flag, lifted up his shirt and pointed at his impressive stomach muscles.

Expanding its diverse portfolio of products, Xiaomi has launched the new AirDots wireless earbuds. Xiaomi is also holding an event in New York City next month.

Without the chance to test them ourselves, we can't speak to whether the AirDots are a truly convincing clone of the AirPods - but at that extremely low price, we'd be very surprised if they measure up in terms of audio quality and connectivity. While turning the AirDots headset back on again, the AirDots connect automatically with the previously connected device without any additional hassle. There is also a dedicated touch zone that is featured on each earbud to let you perform actions such as enable or disable voice assistant, play or pause music, or answer or reject a call using your finger. Apple also revealed past year that it will release a wireless charging case for the AirPods, but the tech giant still hasn't given any details about its launch.

What's clear on the other hand is the fact that the tech for wireless earbuds will continue developing to the point in which they become a part of the box in which phones come pretty soon. The AirDots Youth Edition can provide a continuous music playback of up to four hours. Sales should start on November 11.
