Dez Bryant's Saints tenure may be over before a single game

Dez Bryant

The often-outspoken but extremely talented wide receiver, who had played his whole professional career with the Dallas Cowboys, finally signed with the New Orleans Saints this past week. As NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting, there's legitimate concern Bryant suffered a torn Achilles.

After being released by the Cowboys in April, Bryant had interest from other teams, but he was selective in the process before landing in New Orleans.

He is getting an MRI and the club is awaiting more information. However, during practice on Friday, Bryant went down with a what was initially reported as just a "lower leg injury".

After being cut by the Cowboys in April, Bryant turned down multiple offers from other National Football League teams, before the Saints starting courting him earlier this week.

Temporary flu shot clinic at CSU East Bay
Flu shots will be provided to anyone over the age of 6 months and will be free to anyone with proof of health insurance. This year parents have two choices: the flu shot or the FluMist nasal spray vaccine, available for kids 2 and older.

It looks like disaster has struck for Dez Bryant.

Bryant agreed to a one-year, $600,000 contract on Wednesday and was participating in his second practice when he was injured.

That means he won't get to play for the Saints this season after signing with them two days ago.
