Joe Perry Rushed to Hospital After Performing at Madison Square Garden with Billy Joel

Paramedics worked on the 68-year-old at the venue, putting in a tracheal tube, before rushing him to the hospital.

Last night, legendary Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry surprised fans attending Billy Joel's concert last night at Madison Square Garden.

As of this morning, there's no official word on Perry's condition, but radio personality Eddie Trunk tweeted that he heard the guitarist is "doing well today thankfully".

Perry, 68, had performed at Madison Square Garden in NY with Billy Joel, joining the singer for Aerosmith's "Walk This Way", Deadline reports.

Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku set to miss out on Manchester derby
It was another brilliant performance by City, who maintain their two point lead at the top of the Premier League table . Fernandinho is 34 next May and his age has left Manchester City scouring the globe for a suitable replacement.

It said he was "alert and responsive" on Sunday, but would have to cancel an appearance later in the day at a rock "n" roll fantasy camp in Florida.

The guitarist was rushed to hospital on Saturday after collapsing in his dressing room. Footage from the event showed Perry stumbling offstage from the Ford Amphitheatre before losing consciousness backstage.

Perry recently released a new song, "Quake", with vocals by Gary Cherone of Extreme, and plans to go on a solo tour along Cherone and Aerosmith member Brad Whitford. And the whole Aerosmith crew, including frontman Steven Tyler, are intending to start their Las Vegas residency in spring.

"I look around the stage and he's (Perry) gone", Alice told Rolling Stone at the time.
