Michelle Obama slams Trump in new book

Michelle Obama had a miscarriage before conceiving her daughters through IVF, the former First Lady reveals in a new book.

During the interview, she also talked about her problems with her husband, Former president, Barack Obama when he kicked off his political campaign. "And, so I knew that was gonna be a challenge, that I'd have to earn my grace - and I experienced that on the campaign trail", she said.

Michelle Obama shared with "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts some key advice she'd give her pre-White House self, if she had the chance, as the two sat down to discuss her memoir, "Becoming".

Michelle used in vitro fertilization to conceive her daughters, detailing how "the biological clock is real, because egg production is limited". We should date. I like you, you like me.' And I liked that about him.

Her relationship with Barrack became strained due to their stressful and busy schedules and it ended up impacting their marriage, landing them in marriage counselling.

"'I guess she wrote a book", he told reporters in Paris, where he was meeting with French president Emmanuel Macron. "I love my husband a lot", she said.

"What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington?"

Becoming Michelle Obama is available for pre-order now ahead of its release on November 13. What if that person went looking for our girls?

Trump suggested Obama was not born in the USA but on foreign soil - his father was Kenyan.

Mrs Obama writes that they met with a counsellor "a handful of times", and she came to realise that she was more "in charge" of her happiness than she had realised.

Dampening the hopes of Democrats that she'll run for President in 2020, Michelle writes that she just doesn't have the "passion for politics" that her husband had. Trump instead changed the subject to his predecessor, Barack Obama, saying, "I'll never forgive him" for making the country "very unsafe". She remembers how her body "buzzed with fury" after seeing the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape, in which Trump brags about sexually assaulting women. She claimed his "reckless innuendos" risked her family's safety.
