Infants' Ibuprofen recalled due to potentially higher concentrations of Ibuprofen

Infant ibuprofen recalled due to high concentrations sold at Walmart CVS and Family Dollar

Tris Pharma's voluntary recall covers Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP (NSAID) 50 mg per 1.25 ml.

So far, officials say no issues have been reported from the recalled products.

A company is recalling its infant ibuprofen product because of concerns it contains a higher concentration of the drug than advertised.

The recalled product was packaged in 0.5 oz. bottles and labeled "Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension" (see product image below). Tinnitus, headache and gastrointestinal bleeding are also possible adverse effects.

At Walmart, the recalled lots are 00717009A (expires 02/19), 00717015A (expires 04/19) and 00717024A (expires 08/19).

Rapid Test for Cancer Developed by Researchers
Even better, the test works on circulating free DNA, molecular fragments that drift through easily obtained body fluids. It is created to detect cancer from blood or biopsy tissue by analysing methyl group changes at the genomic level.

The medications, used as a pain reliever/fever reducer, were distributed all over the U.S.

Those stores are Family Dollar, CVS Pharmacy and Walmart.

Context: Tris Pharma hasn't received any reports of adverse reactions to the recalled medicine yet, according to Fortune. The company sent the lots of affected ibuprofen to one distributor, and has notified them to arrange for the products' return.

Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact Tris Customer Service at 732-940-0358 (Monday through Friday, 8:00am ET- 5:00pm PT) or via email at Customer Service Email.

The company said customers who have experienced health issues should contact a doctor or health care professional.
