Palace Makes Statement On Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton's 'Feud'

The women both turn away from each other - Meghan looks at the floor with a sheepish smile, Kate looks at her husband for support, and William takes the reigns and laughs, saying "Ooooh, yeah".

Despite all the preparation prior to the arrival of their baby, Meghan has made sure not to neglect her royal duties.

At the event, the Duchess discussed how higher education can tackle issues such as modern slavery, gender equality and climate change with a number of university leaders, academics and global scholarship students.

Last month, Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, are moving from Kensington Palace in central London to Frogmore Cottage, a house on the grounds of Windsor Estate, early next year, ahead of the anticipated birth of their first child.

Harry also gave an address and his brother, Prince William, who was not in attendance, penned a letter to have read at the event, thanking the patrons and donors for their generous donations.

Then-actress Meghan and Serena were also snapped together at the 2014 Super Bowl in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and again at the launch of the sport star's clothing line during New York Fashion Week in 2016. The Duchess has previously highlighted the importance of education.

She said: "We always had a wonderful friendship".

She said: "As a university graduate, I know the personal feeling of pride and excitement that comes with attending university". Now she's supporting me in a different role but our friendship is still exactly the same.
