Samsung has unveiled its latest jaw-dropping Micro LED displays, which can be arranged in just about any configuration to fit a given room, no matter its shape or size. 8K (7,680 by 4,320) is a new display resolution that will finally see commercial release in 2019 after several years of concept and early design. For those who don't know, MicroLED TVs are based on self-emitting technology similar to OLED TVs, and each chip incorporates RGB color.

Samsung's Micro LED displays rely on millions of tiny self-emissive modules, which give off red, green, and blue light to combine for stunningly sharp colors.

Using MicroLED panels, the 2019 version of "The Wall" is an improvement on last year's version of the TV - which sported a 146-inch 4K display. These transformative TV displays are made up of individual modules of self-emissive Micro LEDs, featuring millions of inorganic red, green and blue microscopic LED chips that emit their own light to produce brilliant colors on screen - delivering unmatched picture quality that surpasses any display technology now available on the market.

The Samsung 98-inch Q900 QLED will once again take advantage of Quantum Dot screen tech, as well as making use of Direct Array Mobile Dimming, ensuring the contrast of a the screen is as rich as it can be for each scene.

Apple and Samsung team up on iTunes for Samsung 2019 TVs
This will allow you to push your photos, videos, music and other contents from your iPhone and iPad seamlessly onto their TVs. That policy is changing, with Apple's AirPlay 2 streaming platform coming to three major TV manufacturers this year.

Another TV unveiled by LG on Monday is seen as a direct competitor to an 85-inch 8K display from rivals Samsung - which costs nearly $15,000 (£11,750).

"For decades, Samsung has lead the way in next-generation display innovation", said Jonghee Han, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

'Samsung Micro LED has no boundaries, only endless possibilities'.

Samsung says the Micro LED displays can be scaled up for a bigger resolution, and can support all types of content without sacrificing image quality. Samsung didn't only go smaller, though: The Wall was increased to a 219-inch version, a giant that's sure to cost tens of thousands of dollars when it hits the consumer market.
