Kate Middleton shows off her maternal side during school visits in London

As part of the initiative, the school kids were asked to bring an object to school that "makes them happy".

The Duchess of Cambridge will visit children at two primary schools on her solo royal engagement.

In addition to meeting with students, Kate was introduced to - get this - Herbie, the "school dog". A family photo! The shot - which features the 37-year-old, Prince William, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and eight-month-old Prince Louis- appears to be the same image the royals used for their most recent Christmas card.

She also viewed an art class to learn how the school uses art to enhance children's confidence and creativity.

Britain's Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge arrives at Lavender Primary School in London, Britain, February 5, 2019.

Kate Middleton stepped out to celebrate Children's Mental Health Week in style, turning heads in another eye-catching green dress and trading her go-to heels for tie-up booties.

Kate continued her visits at Alperton Community school, where she met with Andria Zafirakou, the UK's first victor of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize.

The mother-of-three will watch the pupils at the North-London school take part in their Daily Mile challenge which teaches the importance of being active.

Giving the style a modern edge, the dress bears pockets (though we're betting they're just for show), and Middleton (and her eternally ideal blowout) paired the retro garment with black tights and a set of lace-up booties.
