Detroit will send forward Stanley Johnson to New Orleans to complete the trade.

The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly tried to acquire shooting guard Rodney Hood from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a deal which would have included big man Thon Maker, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The fifth-year power forward is averaging 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds over 32 games for the Pelicans. He was part of the team's second unit when Ersan Ilyasova was injured, but forward D.J.

"Tobias is one of the best three-point shooters in the National Basketball Association and possesses an innate ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, while Boban and Mike provide valuable skillsets, size and depth to our team".

Charges: Suspect Fired 5 Times at School Bus Windshield
Lilly later told officers that he feared for his life, and said that is why he shot the bus driver, according to the complaint. After the two vehicles made contact, the drivers pulled over on the highway's shoulder, police say.

Johnson is joining the league's best defensive team, and in the Bucks' fast-paced offence he may be able to impact the game with his slashing ability. The Pistons, meanwhile, are five games below.500 at 24-29.

Johnson is averaging 13.4 points, 6.6 rebounds per 36 minutes this season.

Maker has been beaten out by DJ Wilson this season and was firmly on the bench in Milwaukee.

If Casey, the reigning NBA Coach of the Year, can unlock the potential that made Maker one of the most intriguing draft prospects of the last few years, the Pistons have just pulled off a good trade for their long-term success.

Back to the present, let's look at today's Bucks stories. He can become a restricted free agent this summer.
