Ellen DeGeneres shaves Julian Edelman’s beard for a good cause

"People don't know what happened", Edelman told King.

And so, after Ellen's promise of a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (which Edelman matched), the beard was no more. Edelman agreed to match the donation.

The event raised $35,000 for three charities.

"I love you, beard", Edelman said.

The show aired on Friday. "I apologize. It'll never happen again". By the time Edelman was named MVP of last Sunday's Super Bowl, it had long since stopped being a novelty. But getting the MVP is kind of a win for me and my other team, and that's my family.

"We still got meat on the bone", Edelman told King.

China trade talks resume
It comes at a time of increasing tensions between the United States and China over an ongoing trade war. Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan have competing claims in the region.

Not only do the Patriots already have a talented wide receiver group, led by Super Bowl 53 MVP Julian Edelman, but the AFC East franchise also has quite the loaded backfield as well, with a litany of running backs now on call.

Belichick has won six Super Bowls as the head coach of the New England Patriots and two Super Bowls as an assistant coach for the New York Giants. While Patrick Mahomes and Co. still managed to hang 31 points, their most explosive offensive player was a total non-factor.

Belichick has this thing that he says: 'Put everything in the drawer and [don't] worry about it until it's done. "I have to shower after I eat".

The Super Bowl LIII MVP will be quick to answer questions about the latest biggest game of his life, this one including 10 catches for 141 yards in the Patriots' 13-3 win over the Rams.

Edelman said focusing on returning in Week 5 is what kept him from slumping into a dark place.

Hopefully someone touched up the shave Ellen gave him before he left the studio.
