Leeds United star Jack Clarke in hospital after collapsing during Middlesbrough game

Jack Clarke stretcher

Leeds winger Jack Clarke was taken to hospital after complaining of illness in the second half of the Sky Bet Championship 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough.

The 18-year-old, who started the match but was substituted at half-time, was attended to by paramedics in the dugout during the final 10 minutes of normal time.

Leeds boss Bielsa told reporters that Clarke seemed to be in better condition before leaving the Riverside Stadium but does not know why he fell ill.

"When we came into the dressing room with the late equaliser and heard everything was good with him, it was nice to hear".

He said on his official Twitter page: "Big thanks to the Middlesbrough medical team and a special mention to Leeds United's Rob Price (head of medicine and performance) for today!"

Jody Wilson-Raybould resigns from cabinet
But if anyone was trying to exert pressure on Wilson-Raybould to influence the legal proceedings, they crossed the line. The company faces charges of bribing Libyan officials between 2001 and 2011 in exchange for contracts.

Fans have been wishing Clarke the best. "He was taken to the hospital to see if everything is all right".

James Milner has been one of the unsung heroes for Liverpool this season as the midfielder is now playing at right-back with Trent Alexander Arnold out injured. "All our thoughts go to the lad Clarke".

Clarke made his Leeds debut against Brentford in October and has gone on to make 17 appearances this season.

So far Clarke has played 15 games in the league - scoring two goals and providing two assists. "All we know is Jack didn't feel well, we don't really know the reasons yet", said Bielsa whose side equalised during 12 minutes of stoppage time when Kalvin Phillips headed a 101st-minute leveller to take Leeds back to the top of the table.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are now second in the table, trailing Norwich City by two points.
