[H]ardOCP: Cyberpunk 2077 Development "Is Far from Over"

Cyberpunk 2077 development is “far from over”

According to the end of the video, work on the game is "far from over", but it's still coming - "when it's ready". Fortunately, the 50-minute gameplay footage that CD Projekt Red released was a success and it managed to get players even more hyped up about the game than they previously were.

CD Projekt Red has polished off a new Cyberpunk 2077 video, offering a general look at the development history of the project, from its brief teaser back in 2013 through to the lengthy demo showcased at E3 a year ago.

The new behind-the-scenes video looks at the history of Cyberpunk 2077 from its original announcement in 2012.

Cyberpunk 2077 development is “far from over”
Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Explains Why It Doesn't Show Much Of The Game

More specifically, it's Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia, telling us that.

The reason why you can't really go out and just show everything is because video game development is such an iterative process, right. "So, we've had ideas that have died over the years, then they have been resurrected, then they died again, and now they're back".

Cyberpunk 2077 platforms were revealed by developers ahead of the game's release. It's probably best not to read too much into it, but it's an approach that we didn't see coming. Development Manager community Marcin Momot (Marcin Momot) said: "the Creation of such a believable, living and massive open world, with such attention to detail, I think, has fundamentally changed the game". Luckily, Cyberpunk 2077 has been confirmed to be present at E3 2019 in June.
