The Sinking City Delayed Until June 27th to Avoid Tough Competition

The Sinking City Delayed To Late June

The Sinking City has been delayed to late June, publisher Bigben Interactive has announced.

Developer Frogwares explained today that The Sinking City's release has been pushed back three months due to its now crowded launch window.

The reasons for the delay are explained as to release the game in a less crowded period and to offer players the best possible game experience. We only hope this isn't a regular occurrence.

$279M lotto winner's ex-wife doesn't want him or his money
Weirsky's ex, Eileen Murray, told the New York Post that Weirsky did not become any more appealing to her because of his win. He said a friend of his mother's called to say she thought a mutual friend of theirs had hit the jackpot.

As for why the original release date has been scrapped, Frogwares points to a crowded release window in March, with Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - three of the biggest AAA titles set for debut this month.

Check out the official The Sinking City website for more information on the game. Once it does, you'll be able to explore the fictional city of Oakmont, which is inundated not only with floodwaters, but also with the nightmarish creatures that populate H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. 'The additional time will also be spent on minor improvements and polishing the game'.

If you were looking forward to taking a trip through time back to the 1920s with Frogwares' The Sinking City, it's time to practice your waiting skills. Why? The player steps into the shoes of a private investigator who finds himself trapped in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts - a city suffering from unprecedented floods of supernatural origins.
