Miami Dolphins add free agent tight-end Dwayne Allen

Dwayne Allen has signed with the Dolphins

Former Patriots tight end Dwayne Allen has signed a two-year, $7 million contract with the Miami Dolphins., according to multiple reports from ESPN. Allen is a better blocking tight-end than he is in the passing game and with MarQuies Gray hitting free agency, Allen will step into that 2nd tight-end role while Durham Smythe develops. Allen's deal is reported to be a two year deal for around $7 million.

Allen, 29, was a free agent after he was released by New England last week.

Dwayne Allen has found a new team, and he didn't even need to leave the division.

Brexit: UK and European Union hail breakthrough in talks
Parliament must approve the deal before it can be ratified. "That's their problem, not ours", Mr Tajani said. Pro-Brexit lawmakers said they would read the fine print before deciding how to vote on Tuesday.

Bill Belichick has a lot of works to do in the offseason as the roster changes was imminent just after the Super Bowl. Allen isn't part of the youth movement and he is not an over 30 veteran.

The signing of Allen shouldn't come as a surprise as newly hired head coach Brian Flores comes from the Patriots as well. Miami is not expected to be big players. In 2017, he had ten receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. Allen may not have the numbers with the Patriots by recording 13 catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in 29 regular season games with the Patriots.
