Advertisers locked out of Ads Manager amid Facebook's outage

Facebook and Instagram applications are shown on the screen of an iPhone in Zagreb Croatia

According to downdetector.com, users began reporting outages just before noon.

Facebook's main product, its two messaging apps and image-sharing site Instagram were all affected.

Facebook continues to work on the issue affecting its family of apps.

Right now, news outlets aren't sure how you're getting to this article because Facebook drives so much traffic.

Facebook took to Twitter to update users on the situation.

Facebook grappled Thursday with a widespread outage, forcing millions of people to taste life without the world's largest social media platform.

UK MPs vote on Theresa May's amended Brexit deal
The UK temporary import tariff announced today would therefore not apply to goods crossing from Ireland into Northern Ireland. But May warned: "Voting against leaving without a deal and for an extension does not solve the problems we face".

The firm was forced to post on rival social media site Twitter after Facebook users received error messages when trying to post updates.

Last November, a Facebook outage was attributed to a server problem and a September 2018 outage was said to be the result of "networking issues".

While users could open the apps, they could not access many of their functions, and there were reports of people being unable to sign in to Tinder or Spotify through Facebook either.

Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger have all been affected by the partial outage across the USA and Europe. Facebook users it seems like in the US, UK and India are certainly facing issues regarding logging into Facebook. Facebook said it was still investigating the overall impact, "including the possibility of refunds for advertisers". It's worldwide, but appears to be hitting the USA and Europe particularly hard.

The issues affected users around the globe, with people in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America reporting problems.
