Thomas Cook flyer hits out over 'inappropriate' top on This Morning

Airline apologises to woman after threatening to offload her for wearing ‘inappropriate’ attire

O'Connor said someone from the airline also made comments over the speaker about the situation, further embarrassing her.

Her posts about the incident, including a photograph of the outfit in question, quickly went viral, as users weighed in on whether the crew were right to demand she cover up.

It left her "shaking and upset", she wrote.

A British woman has launched an all-out attack against Thomas Cook Airlines for threatening to remove her from the flight because of her objectionable wear.

O'Connor was given a jacket by her cousin, who was seated at the front of the plane, and was not watched until she had physically put it on, she said.

The airline's cabin services director had spoken to her "to find out more information" about the incident, it added. As long as you can't see her nipples it doesn't really matter!

In a series of tweets, Emily O'Connor, a resident of Birmingham in West Midlands, wrote that the cabin crew had raised objection to her crop top with spaghetti straps and high-waisted orange trousers, calling them 'objectionable'. "Put a fucking jacket on".

"There was a man sat a couple of rows behind me on the plane in a vest and shorts and nothing was said to him".

Android Q beta is now available for developers and courageous Pixel users
Similar to iOS, now Android users have the ability to prevent apps from using the location while running in the background. For developers, that means supporting new paused and resumed states that allow multiple apps to work on a larger display.

She posted on social media about the incident once she was back in the United Kingdom.

She said: "Let's get a few facts straight".

"I don't want to criticise you Emily, but we live in a world today where we get all these sexy selfies, I think we need to wake up and wise up about the fact that you are demeaning what we've been trying to fight for". "I know these tops you were wearing are indeed a top but look like a bra". "It's clear we could have handled the situation better".

A spokesperson for Thomas Cook said: "We are sorry that we upset Ms O'Connor".

He also added that the airline has an appropriate clothing policy that applies "equally to men and women of all ages" but that applying the policy can be hard and crews "don't always get it right". A man then shouted 'Shut up you pathetic woman.

She took to Twitter and received support from many, and her following poll found that 86 per cent agreed it was "appropriate flying wear". "Our crews have the hard task of implementing that policy and don't always get it right", the airline added.

Thomas Cook says passengers who wear inappropriate attire "will not be permitted to travel unless a change of clothes is possible".
