Watch the New AVENGERS: ENDGAME Trailer

MARVEL STUDIOS

The first "Avengers: Endgame" trailer was finally released on Thursday, but it's Hawkeye's questionable new haircut that's really causing a social media stir. This indicates footage from previous Marvel films. To everyone that didn't make it, who disintegrated after the major last battle with Thanos, the last Avengers owe it to them to have one last showdown. The boarded-up house in the background suggests that a decent amount of time has passed since Infinity War. Thanos has set in motion a Decimation that wiped out 50% of the universe, including some of the world's greatest heroes, including Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther. The new suit could possibly be used to travel through the Quantum Realm or to fight Thanos. We're used to Natasha's hair changing with each new movie, but her hairdresser is working overtime in Endgame. We'd assume they were heading off to rescue Tony and Nebula, but both characters are already in the group lineup. Iron Man and/or Captain America are logical choices for martyrdom.

The third flashback is of Asgard, with Thor and Odin.

Also included on this colorful new one-sheet is Jeremy Renner as Ronin, bow and arrow pulled and ready for attack. The new clip follows the same script of the first one and that's certainly understandable because Marvel can't afford to deliver too many scenes from the film or it would spoil things.

In the Super Bowl spot, we saw a moment in which several of the Avengers talked through headquarters in shadow.

So many questions, and not long to wait before we get some answers! Or perhaps in the MCU, Lila Barton becomes Hawkeye after her father takes off, leaving him thinking that his family was lost in the Snap?
