New Zealand mosques' attack suspect praised Trump in manifesto

What New Zealand the U.S. Norway and Canada Have in Common After the Christchurch Attack

The suspect, who reportedly identified himself a 28-year-old Australian man named Brenton Tarrant, said on a chilling livestream of the massacre, "Remember lads, subscribe to Pewdiepie", in reference to the hugely popular, but controversial, YouTuber.

Ranstorp told Swedish radio Friday that the New Zealand shooter, who killed at least 49 people in two mosques in Christchurch on Friday, claims to "have been in contact with Breivik's sympathizers".

Unlike in the United States, where calls for greater gun control after mass shootings are often met by deaf ears when it comes to federal regulation, three mass shootings - only one of which happened in New Zealand - prompted legislative changes.

A total of 41 people were killed at a mosque on Deans Avenue, Ardern said, and seven were killed at a mosque on Lynwood Avenue.

Young children are among the 48 people wounded in the attack and are being treated for gunshot wounds. The police also noted that two other people remain in custody.

Spotify files complaint against Apple
While Spotify is available for free via Apple , upgrading to its Premium tier service can now only be done via the internet. A Spotify EU complaint brought against Apple says that Apple stifles competition because of Apple's 30% App Store tax.

One man will appear at a Christchurch court on Saturday.

The police commissioner would not confirm the shooter's name is Brenton Tarrant during the press conference.

Police have confirmed they are responding to a "critical incident". "Many of those affected will be members of our migrant communities - New Zealand is their home - they are us".

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has described this as one of the country's "darkest days", while around the world political and religious leaders have expressed their condemnation of the attack.

Australian Senator Faser Anning released a statement blaming "the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place" as "the real cause of bloodshed" following Friday's shootings.
