Google to Retire Inbox by Gmail on April 2

Google Inbox closing

"As a result, we're planning to focus exclusively on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019", said a notice from Google in September. Earlier Google announced that Inbox will be shut by the end of March but now the company has extended the date by a couple of days.

When the features from Gmail were upgraded last June, Google promised that Inbox would remain as a testing ground for new features.

People using the Inbox app on an Android device have already started receiving notifications along with a link, informing them about the transition of all email-related tasks on the Gmail app. The promise lasted three months, at which point Google went back on it, confirming that Inbox would close in Spring 2019.

Sotto believes withdrawal from ICC won't do any harm to PH
But thousands of others are believed to have been slain by pro-government militiamen, in what Manila categories as "deaths under investigation".

Most Inbox users will have already switched email clients. That's also happening on April 2, and this Reddit thread explains how the Internet Archive has been racing to preserve all public Google+ posts before that shutdown gets under way. Since this is such an important one, you are probably still on the hunt for the best alternative to Inbox, assuming you haven't chose to give in and switch back to Gmail.

If you head to the Inbox landing page: Google.com/inbox, youll be greeted with a message that says “Inbox is signing off”.

Google is far from being a stranger to launching and shuttering apps and services willy-nilly, and the latest victim is Inbox. However, not all features may arrive on the default Gmail app. It offered more advanced filtering, snoozing of messages, and more visual organization to the Gmail inbox. This according to the tweets it has been replying to Inbox users on Twitter. For those who haven't, Google recommends adopting the standard Gmail app instead. "As a result, we're planning to focus exclusively on Gmail and end support for Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019".
