Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph visit 'Wine Country' in Netflix promo photos

Amy Poehler's Wine Country Trailer Reunites SNL Favorites on Netflix

It's exciting to see Poehler make the leap from talented TV actress to film director, and after Russian Doll, we're totally stoked to see anything she's able to create under the Netflix banner.

In Wine Country, a group of longtime friends go on a getaway in honour of Rebecca's (Rachel Dratch) 50th birthday. The movie stars Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer, as well as Paula Pell and Emily Spivey.

From the look of the trailer, Wine Country will follow the same formula that recent similar films such as Girls Trip and Rough Night, but on its surface, it doesn't seem like it'll be as raunchy as the former, nor harness as dark a plot as the latter. Workaholic Catherine (Gasteyer), post-op Val (Pell), homebody Jenny (Spivey), and tired mom Naomi (Rudolph) are equally sold on the chance to relax and reconnect.

Wells Fargo Shares Edge Higher on Quarterly Beat
Griffin Asset Management Inc.'s holdings in Wells Fargo & Co were worth $10,450,000 as of its most recent filing with the SEC. Shrewsberry said Wells Fargo expects a decline of 2 percent to 5 percent in net interest income this year from 2018.

This is Poehler's directorial debut, while Spivey and another "SNL" writing alum, Liz Cackwoski, wrote the script. As the wine keeps flowing (and flowing), real-world uncertainties and questions begin to infiltrate the feel-good moments as the women reassess their friendships.

The Wine Country cast also includes Maya Erskine, Jason Schwartzman and Cherry Jones. She also produced and stars in the Napa-set Netflix comedy, which might as well be called SNL All-Stars: The Movie.

Wine Country hits Netflix May 10, 2019.
