Fortnite season 9 is here, and it's all about the future.

Now, the game's makers have just released the new trailer showing what the map will look like in Season 9.

Epic Games has revealed what players can expect to see in Fortnite Season 9 such as a completely revamped battle royale map, new weapons, new rewards and more.

Epic Games revealed a brand new selection of content for the new season on May 9 with the v9.00 update, which included a brand new futuristic revamp for both of the Tilted Towers and Retail Row locations. Located around Neo Tilted Towers, Mega Mall and a large portion of the inner island, these new towers will propel players once they enter the wind stream.

The structures seen in Neo Tilted are also available in Fortnite's Creative mode.

Senator to introduce bill banning loot boxes in video games
Loot boxes are in-game caches that players typically purchase with in-game currency and that contain random in-game items. PCAGA would make it illegal to give "competitive advantages" to items that can only be obtained with in-app purchases.

A new environmental item called Air Vents also provide players a boost across the map, with no damage penalty for doing so.

There are 100 in total, 18 of which appeared at the start of Fortnite Season 9. You'll find a new Combat Shotgun, a semi-automatic gun which holds 10 shells, adjustments for some of the weapons you've come to know, and several which have been vaulted.

The Battle Pass remains at 950 V-Bucks - an amount equivalent to around $9.49 United States dollars - while Season 9's Battle Bundle boosts players to Battle Pass tier 25 and bestows a third instant-access outfit, the cinematic trailer's Bunker Jonesy. If you manage to do that, you'll unlock a special loading screen that features a subtle clue pointing you to a free Battle Star (which levels your Battle Pass up by one tier) or Banner (which can be used as a profile icon) hidden somewhere around the island. There are new areas to explore, new goodies to acquire, and a brand new battle pass.

With these new additions, Epic made various changes to the gameplay and improvement.
