Tiger Woods, amid lawsuit, says death of former employee a 'terrible ending'

BETHPAGE NEW YORK- MAY 13 Tiger Woods of the United States looks on during a practice round prior to the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black

Woods, who is listed as an owner of "The Woods" restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, and Herman, who is the general manager, have been hit with the lawsuit following a December incident in which 24-year-old bartender Nicholas Immesberger lost his life in a auto wreck hours after finishing his shift.

The family also claimed that Woods and Herman were drinking with Immesberger just days before the fatal crash and "reasonably should have known" he was a "habitual drunkard".

Nicholas Immesberger's family claims the 24-year-old bartender was allowed to stay at the restaurant after his shift and drink "to the point of severe intoxication" before he set out in a vehicle and ended up in a one-person, fatal rollover.

Nicholas Immesberger, a former bartender at The Woods, purportedly finished a shift on December 10, 2018, and stayed after hours to drink. His blood alcohol level was more than three times over the legal limit for driving at the time of his death. Immesberger was 24-year-old bartender at The Woods Jupiter.

The lawsuit, brought by Immesberger's parents, said he finished his bartending shift at 3 p.m. and then sat at the bar drinking for several hours.

Tiger Woods, his daughter Sam Alexis Woods, and his girlfriend Erica Herman. Immesberger worked at The Woods restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, and is said to have known the golfer personally.

Supreme Court rules against Apple in App Store monopoly case
Illinois allows only direct purchasers of a product to file suits in federal court claiming violations of antitrust laws. Apple keeps 30% of the sales price, where it is set, Kavanaugh said in a summary he read from the bench.

It also claims that the restaurant's owners, management and employees were all aware of Immesberger's alcoholism but ignored his "disease" when they over-served him drinks. "A awful ending and just we feel bad for him and his entire family".

"So we have through our investigation uncovered evidence to show that the bar knew what happened, they knew about the crash that night and shortly thereafter that video evidence was destroyed and deleted off the servers they had there at The Woods".

At a Tuesday press conference to discuss his upcoming turn in the US PGA Championship at Bethpage Black in Long Island, New York, Woods commented briefly on the matter.

Immesberger's parents allege that the restaurant over-served an "alcoholic" staff member.

The family is seeking damages of more than $15,000, according to NBC News.

What did Woods say?

Immesberger died at the scene. Woods, the family said, is "directly responsible for ensuring that his employees and management. were not over-serving its employees/customers".
