Destiny 2 on Stadia won't have cross-play with Steam

With Destiny 2 coming to Google Stadia, some players may have been hoping that it would allow cross-platform play with players on PC. Having a smaller population will make it that much harder for Stadia players to progress, and that's not exactly going to sell the game to those who might want to give Stadia a shot. Here it is straight from the FAQ: "Stadia is its own ecosystem, just like current existing platforms". They won't have the opportunity to play with players across the other consoles, or even PC users. So while you will be able to access your save file and characters across Stadia and other platforms, your multiplayer experience will be limited to those also on Stadia, excluding the wider PC player base.

"We've already mentioned that we'd love to bring cross play to Destiny 2", he wrote. While cross-save will still be available, so players can switch between platforms at will, the exclusive player base is a big worry. "There's no policy or technological barrier preventing us from including Stadia".

Egypt’s ousted President Morsi buried after courtroom death
Sissi has since closely aligned his country with Saudi Arabia, whose royal family is deeply critical of the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt's State Information Service on Tuesday dismissed accusations he was denied medical visits as "nothing but false claims".

Now that Destiny 2 is fully independent, one of Bungie's first goals was to eliminate the previous model of releasing expansions. "So it's like the way the industry and the way our players are evolving is making us look at the kinds of games we make, and then that's the thing that's pivoting us into those new directions". As an incentive for players to subscribe, every Stadia Pro Subscription will come with a free copy of Destiny 2: The Collection. The latter was announced at the same time as the Stadia version, and is set to be released on September 17.
