‘We all feel it’: Bikers mourn 7 killed in New Hampshire crash

7 dead and 3 hurt as pickup hits motorcycles in New Hampshire

New Hampshire State Police said a 2016 Dodge 2500 pickup truck collided with the riders on us 2, a two-lane highway in Randolph. "You have a bunch of people out for a ride enjoying one of the first nice days we had".

Lt. Michael Crockwell of the Canterbury Police Department said crews responded to reports of a head-on collision on Route 106 in an area north of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway at 1:42 p.m. Friday. Three others were injured, Wagner said.

The online fundraiser was created Saturday by Doug Hayward of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, a member of Jarheads MC, to help the families of the seven killed and three people injured.

Dartanyan Gasanov is the owner of Westfield Transport of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Someone who answered the phone at a listing for Westfield Transport on Saturday and declined to give a name said the company is cooperating with the investigation.

He said that Zhukovskyy, who couldn't be reached for comment, was still in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu tweeted his sympathies to all involved. "My God, I don't want to see something like this again".

"Seven people. C'mon. It's senseless", he said.

He said that he heard the bikers were Marine veterans who belonged to the same motorcycle club.

The chapter said in a statement, "5 patch members and two family members were killed, and several were injured with the most serious being flown to ME for care".

The NTSB investigates every civil aviation accident in the country, but only up to 20 per year involving other modes of transportation, spokesman Peter Knudson said. "I had my most senior investigators out last night and they had never seen the tragedy they had saw last night".

He wasn't on the scene but said had been fielding calls about the accident much of the night.

Beatrice Engstrand, a neurologist who was a first responder to the scene, told NPR the crash site looked "horrible". Victims services advocates were also deployed.

The National Transportation Safety Board is among the agencies investigating.

"You could see motorcycles dumped all over the road, and you could see people on the phone frantically calling, people pacing back and forth, and just, they were lost", witness Miranda Thompson, of Manchester, told WMUR-TV "Everybody got out of their auto and helped, got blankets and first-aid kits".

New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General Jane Young says Zhukovskyy survived and didn't need to be hospitalized.

The investigation is ongoing. The no helmet issue is something the state has been dealing with for ages.
