Red Dead Redemption 2 source code teases PC release

Red Dead Redemption 2 750x422- Rumor Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC Found in Social Club Source Code

"Red Dead Redemption 2" PC reference is spotted in Rockstar's Social Club source code.

Whilst you may be wondering how this could point to anything substantial - note the string circled in green 'RDR2_PC_Accomplishments'.

Social Club, the online network that ties together GTA Online and RDR Online, could be teasing a Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port.

As we said in our review, Red Dead Redemption 2 is arguably "the best game of the past five years". While neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two interactive might have confirmed it yet, it's as inevitable as anything in the gaming world. Even if a PC port never materialises, at the very least this solitary line of text suggests that the company is planning on a bringing the game to PC.

Suns Trade Josh Jackson, De'Anthony Melton to Memphis
He has averaged 12.3 points and shot just 29.4% from behind the arc during his two National Basketball Association seasons. All signs point toward the Suns and Korver reaching a buyout agreement so the veteran guard can sign with a contender.

"You can search for "RDR2_PC" in the following link". The RDR2 Online component came out of beta in May 2019, so there's a lot for the PC crowd to catch up on.

The listing was pulled, but this got rumours swirling. Though the focus on reality and setting can sometimes be to the detriment of the pick-up-and-play atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto, it all pays off in the end. However, while Rockstar and 2K still haven't announced the PC port, one observant fan seems to have discovered a reference to it on Rockstar's own Social Club website.

While Rockstar has yet to drop an official announcement, it's safe to assume that PC gamers will get their hands on the title...eventually.

"So, in this particular instance, I can't really give you too much clarity, apologies". I think we can now confidently say that the game will, after all, hit the PC shelves sooner than we were expecting.
