Mobile service providers working to resolve country-wide wireless outage

Telecom operators said customers were experiencing dropped calls or were unable to place or receive

Telus says its customers began reporting an inability to receive or place voice calls with Freedom Mobile or Rogers customers starting about 2 p.m. Sunday.

There's still no estimated restoration time for calling issues affecting some of Canada's biggest mobile service providers.

"Teams are working hard to fully resolve the issue and we sincerely apologize to our customers", Rogers spokesperson Michelle Kelly said.

Rogers Wireless says customers may experience intermittent issues making or receiving wireless voice calls.

Amber seems happy at the idea of Ovie pursuing a romantic connection with Joanna, leaving Michael single and available. Speaking on Good Morning Britain from outside the villa, he said: "I'm looking to get in front of the fire pit".

According to CP24, Rogers claims that the interference is affecting people using 2G or 3G services on the Rogers, Chatr, or Fido networks.

A spokesperson for Winnipeg-based Bell MTS said its customers in Manitoba had the same experience as other Bell customers.

Bell Canada said its customers began experiencing problems Sunday afternoon as a result of problems with other carriers, which weren't identified, but the service issues were resolved around 10 p.m. Sunday. The companies were still working on Monday to restore complete service. The CRTC, which regulates phone service providers, is planning to make the upgrades - which would support 911 services through voice, photos, videos and text message - mandatory by 2020.

Rogers announced on Sunday evening that it was working on a solution to the problem, but as of Monday morning, no updates have been provided about when service will be restored.
