Warriors to waive veteran guard Livingston

Warriors Waive And Stretch Shaun Livingston, Intends To Keep Playing

The Golden State Warriors will waive veteran guard Shaun Livingston, but the 33-year-old is determined to continue his National Basketball Association career, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. He is still receiving his $2 million guarantee despite being waived.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Livingston is guaranteed $2 million on his $7.7 million salary.

Livingston, who will be 34 before the start of next season, joins a free-agent market that is full of contending teams searching for championship-hardened veterans to fortify benches.

Livingston was drafted fourth overall in the 2004 NBA Draft by the LA Clippers. Golden State is hard capped due to the D'Angelo Russell sign-and-trade deal with the Nets.

Snapchatters on Samsung Galaxy S10 phones are now complaining of a weird black bar showing at the bottom of the device's screen. Last year, the hero colour for the Galaxy Note9 is Ocean Blue and it comes with a contrasting yellow S Pen stylus.

Livingston has played the past five seasons with the Warriors and established himself as a key rotation piece on one of the most dominant dynasties in National Basketball Association history.

He still plans to continue playing, Wojnarowski said.

His production dwindled in limited action this past season, when Livingston averaged 4.0 points in 64 games. By waive-and-stretching him, the Warriors will only pay Livingston $666,667 this year and each of the next two years.
