Police Say Jenelle Evans Lied About David Eason Killing Dog

Janelle Evan and David Eason pose at the Cosmopolitan New York Fashion Week #EyeCandy event After Party at Planet Hollywood Times Square

When asked if the dog is alive, she replied, "I have no idea".

Back in May, MTV cut ties with Jenelle after she said her husband shot and killed their dog, Nugget.

While David appears to be guilty of something, Jenelle is now saying that her story was a complete fabrication she created in hopes of getting publicity. She then advised that after David realized that the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog.

"Jenelle advised that she was inside with her children at the time of the alleged event", the report read.

The Columbus County Sheriff's Office declined to comment on Evans' remarks, telling Page Six, "We have released the media release in reference to this case". Also, initially Jenelle had told investigators she saw Eason remove the dog from the house and then heard a gunshot, but she changed her story in later interviews, saying she didn't see or hear anything to indicate David shot the pup.

Tropical Storm Barry nears Louisiana coast, thousands lose power
A resident of Morgan City tosses back one of the many sandbags he has filled to help secure his home from Tropical Storm Barry . If you have preparations that you need to complete now is the time". "That is just an wonderful amount of moisture", he said.

She has referred to Nugget as being "gone forever" but if she isn't certain of the dogs whereabouts, how does she know the pooch won't return?

"After David went outside with the dog, I walked over to him, and he was by the edge of the woods and he said, 'You don't want to come over here.' And I said, 'Why?' And he said, 'Your dog is not here anymore'". On Thursday, the Columbus County Sheriff's Office said they had closed their investigation following Jenelle's request and that she had provided inconsistent accounts and also told them she filed the animal cruelty report "for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was". Police opened an investigation into the incident on May 1. It looks like the statement about her husband killing the dog was a lie.

"Nugget... I'm crying everyday", she wrote.

Evans admitted she did not witness the shooting but indicated she heard a gunshot.

"I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face ... whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s-t at all". "Didn't talk much. He knows how upset it made me", she replied to a user who asked if it was a "hard decision to stay with David". I knew about this waaaay before it was ever reported. "I'm all about protecting my family, it is my life's mission". No charges will be filed in this case. Evans regained custody of Ensley and Kaiser this week, but Jace is still under the guardianship of Evans' mother, E! Evans literally told Us Weekly that Eason killed the dog.
