Liverpool fan meets hero Mo Salah after running into lamppost

Mohamed Salah posed with Louis right and Isaac left after seeing the accident

A young Liverpool supporter's attempt to get a glimpse of his hero Mohamed Salah left him with a bloodied nose but the pain was quickly forgotten when the Egyptian striker showed his compassionate side by posing for photos.

Eleven-year-old Louis Fowler knocked himself unconscious while trying to keep up with Salah's auto as he left Liverpool Football Club's Melwood training ground.

When Salah's Bentley pulled out, Louis ran after the auto in the hope of getting a wave.

However, amidst all the excitement, Louis ran straight into a lamp post.

"I was still spaced out so I didn't really know what was happening, but he got out of his auto and posed for a picture".

After watching the collision, neighbors brought the two boys back to the street where they live which is close by the training ground, the boys' stepdad, Joe Cooper, told the Liverpool Echo. "Everyone was gobsmacked. They were made up and Louis forgot all about being injured".

Football-mad Louis didn't have time to clean his bloodied nose after spotting the footballer near his house and asking him for a photo.

Thai driver Albon replaces Gasly at Red Bull F1 team
It follows a tough season for Gasly alongside Max Verstappen - and a stellar one for rookie Albon partnering Daniil Kvyat. However, Kvyat's track record has been even better, with the young Russian outscoring his teammate by 11 points.

"Thank you for coming back to check on my boys after Louis KO'd himself trying to get a wave!"

We were still trying to work out what had happened when Mo arrived. "You are a top man and a true gent!", he wrote.

"It was a touch of class on Mo Salah's part to turn round and actively come looking for the boys".

After beginning the Premier League season on fire with Liverpool, scoring in the Reds 4-1 win over Norwich, Mohamed Salah's good form has continued off the pitch.

"He [Salah] was really apologetic and saying sorry for something that wasn't his fault".

'Mo Salah is their hero and the boys were made up'.

"When he drove out of the training ground I thought that I could get a picture with him", Louis explained.
