These are expensive. As of this year, another tier has been added with 5G versions of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10. Whether it has run out of such experiments or has changed its mind, the Galaxy A90 5G is anything but experimental.

We've had to wait a little while for Samsung's first 5G phone, but it's now here.

In the same blog post, Samsung revealed that it had made an assortment of improvements to the Galaxy Fold since the phone was initially delayed, from extending the top protective layer of the Infinity Flex display beyond the bezel to strengthing the hinge.

Samsung Australia has confirmed it's working with its operator and retail partners regarding the Galaxy A90 5G's launch Down Under.

The back of the phone, which is covered with a glass having a "unique geometric pattern", is home to a triple camera setup comprising of 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP depth sensor units.

There is a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture on the Galaxy A90 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G supports face unlock. However, it has confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase in South Korea starting from September 4. Similar to the A70, the device also gets a 4,500mAh battery and it also supports super fast-charging via USB-C. The handset comes in black and white color variants.

Samsung hasn't said as yet when it's going to bring this handset to other markets where 5G has gone live. The South Korean company has officially confirmed all the specs of the Galaxy A90 5G, but the pricing of the phone is now under the wraps.

While the phone will be available in South Korea from September 4, its Australian release date and pricing is not yet confirmed.
