What Time is ABC’s Democratic Debate?

The Democratic debate featured some fiery exchanges and put the divide between liberal and moderate candidates on display

The ten leading candidates for the Democratic Party's United States presidential nomination are set to share a stage for the first time.

The ABC News debate is the first limited to one night after several candidates dropped out and others failed to meet new qualification standards. Here's everything you need to know about the third debate. That ensures two nights of Democratic debates again next month. Earlier this month, CNN hosted a seven-hour town hall, during which the 10 candidates participating in this week's debate were given the opportunity to talk about their climate change policies.

And although Klobuchar's campaign has attracted donors from across the country, no state has given in greater numbers than Minnesota, according to the most recent round of campaign finance reports, filed in July. Kamala Harris; entrepreneur Andrew Yang; former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke; and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro. So what might set them apart, what could be the flashpoints Thursday night, and can any of the other candidates break through?

The third debate in the race to find a challenger to Republican President Donald Trump in the November 2020 election will spotlight the party's ideological divisions, with moderate front-runner Biden at center stage flanked by progressives Warren and Bernie Sanders, both USA senators.

Warren and Sanders are neck-and-neck for second at around 18%, with Harris and Buttigieg trailing significantly in fourth and fifth.

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, author and activist Marianne Williamson, Colorado Sen.

The remaining candidates do not come close to the top tier, with Sen. One minute and 15 seconds will be allotted for direct responses to questions, and candidates will get 45 seconds for responses and rebuttals.

The ABC News debate has 10 candidates altogether and will air on a broadcast network with a post-Labor Day uptick in interest in the race. NBCNews.com will live-blog throughout the night, offering live updates, fact checks and analysis.

"Democrats hoping for Biden to collapse may find themselves in the position of Donald Trump's opponents from four years ago", when the now-president swatted away a historically large field of rivals, said Larry Sabato, who heads the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia. Gabbard appears to have enough donors, but still needs to reach 2 percent in two more qualifying polls to make the cut.
