Trump shares viral out-of-control airport cart video

Dr. Kevin Klauer Beverage cart stopped at O'Hare Airport by Jorge Manalang

In the video, airport workers stand around an out of control golf-cart-like vehicle wildly spiraling just feet from the plane.

The dramatic clip shows the vehicle spinning around in circles, despite no one sitting behind the wheel.

The cart came dangerously close to crashing into the nose of a nearby aircraft, but luckily that was avoided.

Dr. Kevin Klauer, an osteopathic physician, caught video of the cart's insane circular ride on the tarmac while waiting for his flight to Tennessee.

Trump inserting himself into the viral discourse quickly led people to make comparisons to the video and his presidency. Moments later, they clapped and cheered as the fearless airport worker intervened with the tug and knocked the wild cart out of the way, toppling the truck over and preventing a serious accident.

An American Airlines spokesperson said that there was an investigation underway to figure out what went wrong, but an early assumption was that the accelerator had gotten stuck.

"No American Airlines team members were injured and the incident resulted in one 10-minute flight delay", American Airlines said in a statement.

American Airlines added that "We appreciate the quick action of our team member who stopped the vehicle". The airport worker was not yet identified by Tuesday morning.

"Safety is our top priority and we are working with our partners to investigate the incident", the statement concluded.

"Great job, just in time!" the president tweeted.
