Granit Xhaka Set for January Exit After Being Stripped of Arsenal Captaincy

Why Arsenal sacked Morrow personality clashes an inflated role and a failed academy in Greece

With Arsenal managing to dig themselves into a very unusual hole these days following the Granit Xhaka outburst and a rather disappointing run of form, questions are being asked about Unai Emery's future.

Emery told Xhaka he was no longer part of the Gunners" leadership group and said the Switzerland worldwide "accepted' the decision.

Xhaka told fans to "f*** off" as he was jeered following his substitution in a recent 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace - also removing his shirt and cupping his ears. We back him. He is playing his part now.

Xhaka was absent from Arsenal's shootout loss to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, with Bellerin wearing the captain's armband as the Gunners exited the competition in the round of 16.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke the deadlock in the first half before Mexican striker Raul Jimenez levelled after the break.

Xhaka may be popular with his team-mates but he is not popular with the Arsenal supporters.

California Attorney General Says Facebook Hasn't Adequately Complied With Subpoenas
The state is looking into whether Facebook violated California law by deceiving users and misrepresenting privacy practices. On Wednesday, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra offered few details about the probe.

"I told him the decision I took, and I told the other captains". When you look around the Arsenal XI, only Aubameyang and Guendouzi truly lead by example, and it's no coincidence that the 2 of them have been by far Arsenal's best players this season, and single-handedly won them a few matches from losing positions. And also I urged the diversified captains the decision.

Xhaka is seen as one of if not the best players in Switzerland, hence he captains his country on worldwide duty.

Immediately following the incident against Palace, Emery said Xhaka was devastated about the row and hailed his commitment to the club in training and in games.

The Spaniard added: 'We have now Aubameyang, Hector, Lacazette and Ozil. "Then the time is giving us the next weeks and months, how we can continue with every player", he continued.

'But now the focus is tomorrow.

The post went down well with these Arsenal fans, who were seemingly keen on a deal, with some even urging the club to consider a swap deal.
