Cincinnati Bengals' AJ Green suffers setback, out indefinitely

A.J. Green is expected to play for the Bengals on Sunday after rehabbing from torn ankle ligaments suffered during training camp

According to a report from ESPN, Green is not only out this weekend, but he's now out "indefinitely".

Despite suffering the setback, Green said he's still planning to return at some point this season. Eco-friendly skipped the first half of the time recovering from torn ligaments in his ankle. In recent weeks, he started to go through individual drills and was working toward being a full participant at practice. For me, just gotta make confident I gotta consider treatment of me initially before anything else.

Green said that on Monday he did more than he ever had during the recovery process, running routes and participating in multiple back-to-back drills. But on Thursday he said "my ankle is saying it's too much. That's when you gotta back again off". "If that comes to a point where I can't play, that's what's supposed to happen".
