World Leaders Mocked Trump Because He ‘Dominates the Show’

World leaders caught on tape, apparently mocking US President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump has called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "two-faced" after footage emerged of him seemingly gossiping about the commander-in-chief with other world leaders on Tuesday night.

The conversation, which involved Mr Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Queen Elizabeth's daughter Anne, was recorded on video and snippets were audible. Mr Johnson can be heard asking Mr Macron as he wanders up to the group, in what is assumed to be a reference to a press conference the French President held with the United States leader.

Johnson asked Macron why he had arrived late to the reception, and Trudeau interjected, saying, "He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top".

After the summit, a flustered Johnson insisted that reports of the exchange were "nonsense", but Trump had clearly seen it and he was angry, particularly with the apparent ring-leader, Trudeau.

Trump and past USA presidents have urged the alliance's members to spend 2% or more on defense.

The reception footage also shows Trudeau saying "his team's jaws drop to the floor" about someone, though it's not completely certain whom he's talking about. He called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "two-faced", scrubbed a scheduled press conference and headed for the airport.

The US president was asked whether he had seen the clip in which his global counterparts appeared to joke about his explosive press conference with Emmanuel Macron, and his erratic diplomatic style, at Tuesday night's Buckingham Palace reception.

During Trump's meeting with Trudeau on Wednesday, the president said Canada was "slightly delinquent" in paying its share of defense spending on the trans-Atlantic alliance.

Mike Moustakas to sign four-year deal with Reds
Coincidentally, Moustakas will now play alongside former Phillies shortstop Freddy Galvis in Cincinnati. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, he will make $64 million over the course of the deal.

Trump has already hit back - calling the prime minister "two-faced" and claiming he was upset because the president told him to spend 2% of Canada's GDP on defence.

The survey found four percent of the 1,500 respondents thought Canada was "unfriendly", while a further one percent believed the country was an "enemy".

Besides defence spending, Trump and Trudeau were expected to talk about some high-profile and sensitive files during their sitdown Tuesday, including the detention of the two Canadian men in China and the progress of the new North American free trade deal. "Which of those foreign leaders would not happily change place with Donald Trump - with his economy and yes, in fact, his rising approval ratings?"

The leaders of the world's most powerful military alliance clashed over personality and policy on Wednesday as NATO's summit ended with an effort to paper over their sharp divisions. But the meeting was kept off Trump's schedule and not revealed until Trump tweeted about it Wednesday morning.

Trump called Macron's comments "very disrespectful".

"We have unfortunately a large number that haven't met the goal", Trump said of other leaders at the summit.

"We had a great meeting yesterday [Tuesday] between me and the President", he said, speaking after the summit concluded.
