Leclerc: Still 'a lot to learn' from working with Vettel

Charles Leclerc: I won't crash with Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel again

A promising talent through his junior career, Leclerc vindicated Ferrari's decision to place him in its team for his sophomore campaign by outclassing four-time world champion team-mate Sebastian Vettel across most of the year and beating him to fourth in the championship standings.

"So my work this winter is mostly on the races, to try and improve that".

Tension built between Leclerc and Vettel during 2019, with the pair clashing in Brazil, while a team orders row over Vettel not giving Leclerc a place back in Russian Federation also caused friction.

"In terms of performance it is always really hard to know before the first race", Leclerc said. "I mean, he's extremely professional, and he's going a lot into the details". "As a team we also need to focus on that".

"So we will wait for the first race".

After missing out on his maiden Grand Prix in Bahrain win early in the 2019 season, Leclerc finally made it to the top step of the podium in Spa.

"It's extremely challenging to discover words to define what I really felt throughout this race [at Monza]", stated Leclerc, that was talking on-stage at Autosport International2020 "I had a great deal of stress- the entire group had a great deal of stress- due to the fact that certainly we remained in Italy, Ferrari is significant in Italy, as well as every person desired us to win so there allowed stress around the entire group".

U.S. Economy Added 145000 Jobs in December
It's the same situation for the area's employment rate, which shows the percentage of people employed. In the two months prior to December, however, the gain in wages was reported at a much higher 4.4%.

"It offered me cools as well as made me understand what it resembles to be a Ferrari chauffeur, which obviously I understood a bit prior to, yet I believe you actually understand it when you win in Monza as well as see the enthusiasm [that] you can actually see in the eyes of individuals- the enthusiasm that they have for the brand name".

"But at the end, I think we are mature enough out of the vehicle to work together and to try to develop the kind in the right way". "Obviously, we've had our moments on the track, in which we've learned together, and hopefully it won't happen again. things like in Brazil".

"We have been working well and I feel definitely more ready than in 2019".

"The pressure is going to be higher than anywhere else and I think the way that he has gone this season and been the reliable driver that has been able to deliver some good consistent races".

But Leclerc said they have been able to clear the air afterwards. "Now it is up to me to do the job on the track and to try to show my ability".

"There have been times where we didn't really understand each other in some situations", the Monegasque added.
