Thomas Tuchel reacts to Arsenal's transfer move for PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa

Mikel Arteta has warned his Gunners team to be ready for Sheffield United

Thomas Tuchel says he wants Layvin Kurzawa to stay with PSG amid rumors of a move to Arsenal.

This season the 27-year-old has made 14 appearances across all competitions.

According to ESPN sources, the France worldwide is the subject of interest from both Milan clubs but Arsenal and London are Kurzawa's preference, as well as the main motivation behind him changing representation to Kia Joorabchian's Sports Invest UK group on Friday.

Kieran Tierney is a long-term absentee with a dislocated shoulder, which has left the Gunners short at left-back.

But, Tuchel is now saying that PSG needs Kurzawa in case first-choice left-back, Juan Bernat suffer an injury.

Djene Dakonam and Getafe have one of the best defensive records in the league this season with 20 goals conceded in just 19 games which is three goals lesser than league leaders Barcelona who have conceded 23 goals this season.

Sead Kolasinac has been struggling with ankle and thigh problems, which means that teenage winger Bukayo Saka is now Arsenal's only.

The full-back is entering the prime years of his career but has increasingly found himself left out of Tuchel's side.

Rihanna billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel reportedly end their 3yr relationship
And a year ago in October, another insider who spoke with Us Magazine stated the ex-love birds were doing very well together. Although no details surfaced on why the two split, sources claim the 3-year relationship is over for good.

However, Arsenal are ready to snap him up in January, rather than wait until the summer.

"We need Layvin. I have not spoken with him about a departure, nor anybody else".

Despite Arteta using the young Bukayo Saka in the left-back position when needed, Arsenal seek a more reliable solution. "We need him and Layvin will play tomorrow (Sunday) against Lorient".

'He has played well recently'.

Sead Kolasinac has performed well in Tierney's absence, especially under new boss Mikel Arteta.

The report claims that Arsenal had officials watching the player during Paris Saint-Germain's 4-1 win over AS Monaco on Wednesday.

The Gunners are now 10 points adrift of the Champions League places and, unless further improvements are made, the club may have to settle for another season outside of Europe's elite club competition.
