Bulls Rank 4th On Forbes List Of Most Valuable NBA Teams

New York Knicks still most valuable NBA team at US$4.6bn

Three teams top the $4 billion value mark, led by the $4.6 billion New York Knicks, proving yet again that in business and in sports, incompetence doesn't always suffer. The Bulls' value rose 10-percent from a year ago.

Ranked behind the New York Knicks ($4.6 billion), Los Angeles Lakers ($4.4 billion), Golden State Warriors ($4.3 billion) and Chicago Bulls ($3.2 billion), the Celtics are now valued at $3.1 billion.

A failure to win on the court is not stopping the New York Knicks from growing in value.

Even though the National Basketball Association is dealing with major issues-television ratings plummetting plus the tiff with the Chinese market over Rockets general manager Daryl Morey's Hong Kong comments-team values are still soaring.

The NBA's current $2.7 billion media deal with ESPN and TNT expires after the 2024-25 season. Only NFL franchise Dallas Cowboys ($5.5 billion) are worth more than the Knicks among the sports franchises in North America.

However, the secretary also stressed that the approach to the peace process would be conditions-based and continually reevaluated. In December 2018, the Taliban announced they would meet United States officials to try to find a "roadmap to peace".

According to Forbes' evaluations, the Raptors made $334 million in revenue last season (fifth most in the league behind the Knicks, Warriors, Lakers, and Rockets), up from $275 million the season prior.

The franchise valuations come one week after owner James Dolan re-assigned team president Steve Mills while stressing that he is not interested in selling the club.

According to multiple reports, the Knicks plan to hire agent Leon Rose to become the team's next president, but before he can be hired, he needs to sever ties with his clients.

The Los Angeles Lakers were valued at $4.4 billion, while the Golden State Warriors were listed at $4.3 billion.

The rest of the top 10: Chicago ($3.2 billion), Boston ($3.1 billion), the Los Angeles Clippers ($2.6 billion), Brooklyn ($2.5 billion), Houston ($2.475 billion), Dallas ($2.4 billion) and Toronto ($2.1 billion).
