Man arrested after scaling Buckingham Palace's front gates

A man breached Buckingham Palace security in the early hours of Wednesday morning while the queen slept inside.

Scotland Yard said the man was not carrying weapons and the incident was not terror-related, according to The Guardian.

The man remains in police custody in London.

Police were anxious that this invasion was a copycat operation of a previous Buckingham Palace break in 37 years ago-this incident last night had nearly occurred on the exact date as the other one.

Palace officials declined to say whether the queen was told about the incident.

The 22-year-old man is believed to have climbed over the fence from the Buckingham Palace Road side of the building; he was arrested just a few minutes later, according to the BBC. He said he had been there a month before, at which time he had a good look around the palace before stealing a snack of cheese and crackers.

The source says the intruder was detained under the mental health act.

Until Dawn developer’s The Dark Pictures Anthology has eight planned games
Bandai Namco recently revealed that Man of Medan will have two different multiplayer modes in addition to its single-player mode. Two players join forces as they tackle the mystery surrounding a mysterious ship, inspired by a true life event .

"How is it possible all these years later that someone can climb the fence and get right inside the grounds without being stopped immediately?" the source told The Sun.

The Sun understands the Queen was the only senior royal sleeping at the Palace because of the refurbishment work going on. "It's very odd given the infamous Fagan business almost 37 years ago", the source says. Terrifyingly, a 33-year-old decorator called Michael Fagan entered her bedroom in July 1982 at 7.15 am. What about heat censors and CCTV?

In a 1993 BBC interview, Fagan highlighted the lack of security saying: "I don't know how the hell I found her [the Queen]".

"He was determined to get inside the palace and was banging down the doors but, thank goodness, this time everything was locked up", they said.

Fagan was a 31-year-old schizophrenic man who had apparently broken a glass ashtray at the foot of her bed during the incident.

The Queen was rescued when she was spotted by butler Paul Whybrew who was returning from walking the corgis.
