Former NFL wide receiver for the Detroit Lions Charles Rogers has died, various reports are saying.

A cause of death was not immediately known.

Former Michigan State teammate and National Football League tight end Chris Baker was among the first to share the news. Marshall Thomas, Rogers' former basketball coach at Saginaw High School in MI, told MLive.com that Rogers died Monday of liver failure and also had cancer. "He said he was going to the Lord". According to TMZ, he was awaiting a liver transplant when he passed away. "We send our condolences to his family, friends and former teammates during this hard time".

Iran’s president: New oil field found with over 50B barrels
Iran's oil revenues will increase by $32bn (£25bn) "if extraction rate from the oil field increases only 1%", he added. Company or governments that buy Iran's oil face harsh USA sanctions.

"We send our condolences to his family, friends and former teammates during this hard time".

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio called Rogers "an incredible talent". He went on to play college ball with the Michigan State Spartans in 2001 and 2002, becoming an All-American and breaking the school's career touchdown record with 27. Spoke along with his mother this early morning. But after a promising start, Rogers suffered a broken collarbone in practice and played only five games his rookie season, and he suffered the same injury on the third play of the 2004 season, ending it after just one quarter. Ensure you pray for her and his little ones. While many who see this will think at first thought that it was drug-related; it sounds like Rogers just faced a myriad of problems and misfortunate health-wise. Rogers also had to return $6.1 million of his $9.1 million signing bonus to the Lions, as violation of the league's substance abuse policy was ruled to have breached his contract. In high school, he was also talented in basketball and track.
