Plane slides off runway at Chicago’s O’Hare as snow moves

The flight originated in Greensboro, North Carolina.

A passenger on the American Airlines flight at Chicago O'Hare airport captured incident as the plane slipped off the snowy runway on Monday morning.

A viral video on social media shows a plane sliding sideways, stopping with its wing in a grassy area. Three crew members and all 38 passengers were safely removed from the aircraft, WGN reports.

According to the Associated Press, the airplane was trying to land at O'Hare International Airport when it slid off the runway about 7:45 a.m. on November 11.
